Not just another mbc problem.HELP!

I was installing my turbonetics mbc today and I'm pretty sure I have it hooked up correctly. The side that is supposed to go to a pressure source is hooked up to the nipple on the t25 where the bcs hose used to be and the WG hose is hooked up to the nipple on the actuator. Is this correct? When I turned the knob all the way in the low direction to prevent overboosting, It overboosted anyway but I only let it it boost to 20psi for a milisecond. I turned the knob twice to turn boost up and it went to the stock 10psi. So i turned it down a one turn and it overboosted again to 20psi! only this time it created a problem. I have a forge bov recirculated with the 2g flange. It uses the rubber gasket from the stock bov for the plastic uicp and when it overboosted it blew that rubber gasket. I dont know where to go from here, any information would help me out big time.

Let me get this straight... when you turn the knob down, (or into the MBC body) it turns the boost up, when you turn the knob out, it turns the boost down... That is how it is supposed to work...

ah a little bit of a typo. When I have it alway the way to the - (counter clockwise), it overboosted. When i turned it 2 turns the +(clockwise) it boosted to 10psi. If i keep playing around with it theres no in between just overboost or 10 psi
