Ok this is kinda weird to me... I'll try to explain it best as i can. I'm in the process of doing a 6 bolt swap out cause I thought I had blown a headgasket and was just sick of my 7 bolt and its problems. My 7 bolt had around 135000 miles on it when it was removed. After the 7 bolt block was removed we noticed the crank could move in and out, not like crank walk but like the whole crank assembly with the flywheel could move side to side about an inch... I'm guessing this also made it hard to get in gear, but the engine actually ran and pulled fine, but I know this isn't good..... Just wondering what would cause this cause i was thinkin about rebuilding my 7 bolt for another car....

You are going to have to explain yourself a little better. It sounds like good old regular crankwalk to me.

Thats crankwalk my friend. When I did a 6 bolt swap on my old 2g, I pulled on the flywheel of the 7 bolt, and it moved out damn near a half inch, It was still a running motor when I pulled it and I drove it daily.
