I think were leaving at like 4 or 5. Not sure yet. It all depends on how much cars show up.

Isn't this an Ecotec meet? My best friend with a Sunfire was telling me about some Ecotec meet at Atco...

If this is the same event he's talking about I'll be there, because I told him I'd go with him. :thumb:

No, its nopi, its a drag racing/car show/drifting series that goes all over the country.

I know what Nopi is but I thought they were having GM's Ecotec meet there, Turns out that's at Englishtown. I just got a bit confused

Well I won't be able to make it to both and I think Englishtown is closer to me :coy:

We've had 2 events and it's rained at both of them, so of course rain is in the forecast for Atco. It usually threatens (or actually does) rain on Saturday, then brightens up Sunday so we can finish the event. We still have to run eliminations for Nopi's Atlanta event, which has to be run during Atco's qualifying session on Saturday.

Let me see, watch a bunch of dumb high schoolers race their rice burners or go to nopi? That's a hard decision.

Just jokin. You can go to e town for nopi, i think its in 2 weeks.

Well the weather is saying Isolated Thunder storms starting around 2 and its only a 30% chance of it happening, so hopefully it will be fine.
As said earlier it seems the Atco show is always threatened by rain.

well the weather wasn't that good ,that i thought its gonna be,froze my balls out there, plus the whole show wasn't that really good. :( just wasted 30 bucks for nuttin :(

Those were some very good pics you took at Atco. I can't wait until we get all the parts in so that we can change the way our car is set up in the engine bay. By the way, I used to work for Paradise Racing (the Celica in the picture) and can answer any questions about it that you may have.

Well, not mine per say, but my girlfriend's. I just do all the work to it. :thumb:

Yeah. You guys going to e town?

F*ck, weather looks shitty again!!! (have the weather channel on right now)

We are not going to Englishtown due to an accident we had in the pit area at Atco. Sandra was pitched off our pit bike just before her final round match against Bryan Jimenez. She severely broke her ankle and had 7+ hours of surgery to repair it. I will be doing the driving until she comes back, which probably won't be until August. Lucky for her, there won't be any Nopi events until then, since she's looking pretty decent in the points. Missing Englishtown will be a hit to her points, but hopefully not too bad.

Sorry to hear that, hopefully she's back outhere sooner than later.

What's the car's best et/mph? I didn't see a single run of it.

You didn't see us run probably because we had a bye run into the final round and I wanted her to take it easy on the stock trans we put in because we've destroyed our fair share of driveline parts in the past few weeks. I told her to run it to half track and shut it off. All the data looked good to the 1/8th. Hope to have a new trans in the next few weeks. We just got the new Driveshaft Shop Pro Level Stage 5.9's, and they look killer.

Car's best et with us as owners of the car was 10.13@145mph without nitrous and about 37psi of boost. There's obviously much more there, which we'll explore very soon. :laser:
