well last month I got a act2600 installed by ams for me car along with the xact flywheel, at first it was a whole difeerent experience because of the lighter flywheel. but to te point. i Noticed about a week or so after I got the stuff installed that there is a noise coming from the tranmsission side of the egine bay, I cant really explain it but I tell you when I press the clutch in the noise goes away, am I paranoid or should this be normal, I only noticed the noise when I was standing next to a wall with my car and the noise echoesd off of it, you have to listen pretty close to hear it. thanks. :thumb:

I have the exact same problem so let me know if you figure out exactly what it is. My mechanic said that it was probably like the throwout bearing or the pilot bearing. This makes sense because everything in the tranny is a lot looser with the clutch out. When you depress it, everything tightens up so there's no potential for anything to rattle around (such as what would be caused by a bad bearing).
