No Tach

Hey everyone I've got a 90 awd 5-spd, recently I removed my cruise control and the brace off the back of the intake manifold at the same time, Now I have no tach. I have already tried a different cluster, that didn't help. From my search I've read about a noise filter that mounts on the back of the intake, I think that might possibly be unplugged. Can anyone tell me what the looks like, or give me any other ideas? Thanks in advance.

Reach down behind the intake manifold and you will find two plugs mounted on the intake manifold stay (the bracket that holds the manifolds to the block), one of them goes to the knock sensor which you can verify by following the wire to the knock sensor (passinger side if memory serves) and the other one is for the noise filter.
