I found a guy selling a no name brand adjustable FPR. He said it is blue and does have a fuel pressure gauge on it. He does not have pictures, but would anyone run a generic FPR?

Hi, In my experience, I thought i would be the lucky guy who could get away with using a ebay chineese knock off regulator with good results. I wasnt so lucky. I did do some research on this site and found a few people who were running them and said they were great so i ordered one. When i hooked it up, The pressure gauge would peg to 100 psi. i tried everything to make it work, Finally i went ballistic! I ran inside and sent the guy i bought it from a very threatining email. Within 5 minutes i had a UPS packing slip for a reutrn and a refund with the tracking number! BIGGEST PIECE OF SH$T EVER! I bought a fuelab regulator and it worked perfect the second it was connected.
Not to mention do you really want the chance of a fire under your hood? Or the chance that the pressure doesnt rise 1:1 with boost? You lean out, Then the money you saved on the regulator goes to a new engine? Not worth it. You can get a full kit for 200 bucks, From the rail to the reurn.

Well that is probably what I am going to do now after reading that and doing a bit of research... Im probably gonna get an Aeromotive AFPR with braided lines, thanks!

You don't want to cheap out on a FPR... or anything that could decide whether or not your car will exist at all if it chooses to stop working/never work properly. I personally have my eye on a sexy black Fuelab unit. Aeromotive is one of the few others I'd trust. Good choice! :thumb:
