No boost unless my throttle is over 30% is this Normal?

I just installed a gm mas and maft with a blow-thru dejon tool upper intercooler pipe. I upgraded from running no mas, and without the mas i could boost with pretty much any amount of throttle. Now with the gm mas, i boost only if i give it over 30% throttle. If I give it any less throttle my boost gauge will stay at "0" no matter how high my rpm is. I am just wondering if this is normal? If not, does that mean I have a boost leak?

First, how were you running without an maf?

Second, if you think there's even a possibility of having a boost leak, build a boost leak tester and check.

1) Originally I had a 2g mas but it had no honeycombs, so my car ran horribly. So I took it out and set my afc to pressure and it started running better.

Is it normal not to build boost while giving less than 30% throttle?

Yeah thats normal.
You are just partial throttle. What does it matter if you arent building boost or not.

Thank You, I just wanted to make sure its normal. Because before when my car was running with no MAS it would boost always, and always boost way to much since i have massive boost creep.
