Nipple!!!

so i've gotten some of my hoses confused. What hose connects to the nipple (on a T25 or T28) inbetween the compressor inlet and the lower intercooler pipe arm? I'm pretty sure it is one of two choices: It is just a straight hose from the nipple to another nipple on the air intake pipe. OR I use a T-fitting to tap it into the hose from the actuator to the boost controller.
I'm thinking it just goes to the intake pipe, but that's just my guess. Thanks for your help

If it's coming off of the compressor housing, then it's option #2 as you wrote above.

muchas gracias you two. I'm right in the middle of putting in my FP Big 28 and I was looking at hoses and was thinking that something just didn't add up, and I knew there would be some smart DSMers on here who could help me out. Thanks again.

Hope the install goes well! (not that you should have any problems...)

I ran a BIG28 for about 18 months and just absolutely loved it.

Do this, or run a line from it to your MBC as your boost source.

it's been my boost source since I put it in, but I always hear that the source should be the pressure of the manifold. But if I don't like it from where I relocate it, then I'll just put it back, no big deal.

The place where you tap your MBC on your intake tract (as long as it's after the turbo) isn't super important.


Where you tap your boost gauge is though. The boost gauge should be tapped from your manifold b/c you want to measure what psi your engine is seeing.
