J Pipe Vacuum Nipple

i just finsihed my new intercooler setup which involved welding up another j pipe but i used a vacuum nipple on it thats larger diameter than the stock one on the stock jpipe, is this an issue at all?? i get boost later now just wondering if that would have any effect on it

That wouldn't change anything appreciably. The reason it spools slower is most likely because of the added volume the turbo has to fill with compressed air and that just takes more time. Pressure drop also comes into play. The other possible reason is a boost leak. Have you tested for leaks yet?

check you negative back pressure on your guage that also helps in finding out if you got a boost leak.
