Hi, may be someone can help me?
What kind of spark plugs is better for my 4G63 NT if i use nitros basic system (+/- 100HP)
BPR6EIX-11 0.044 or as for Turbo BPR6EIX 0.032 ???

Please help!

Whatever your stock spark plug is, one range colder then stock (for 50-75hp shot) two ranges colder for larger shots 100+hp.

Do not use fancy plugs or anything else, standard copper plugs are the best you can run.

And you're not supposed to use a spark plug with a protuded electrode. It has a protruded electrode if there is a P in the #. I use BR7ES plugs in my car normally on the street (turbo car) and BR8ES if I'm on the bottle. Notice no P's in those #'s.

Ok, but if i use NGK IX iridium BPR6EIX 0.032 that is OK??? I don't have turbo, only the bottle!

THAT STILL HAS A P IN IT, DON'T IT.

Don't bother with the Iridiums, just go plain, cheap copper. Again.

but iridium isn't a better??? or i wrong???

as it has been stated several times by people much wiser than me, i would assume that for nitrous it is NOT better

You mean iridium not better for nitros ???

if the iridium gets overly hot, it can melt and go into the engine. get copper plugs, if those were to get too hot, they'll just disintegrate and not go into your engine. iridium = bad. copper = good.

The best sparkplugs for nitrous is a sparkplugs with catalyze agent.
It's a similar. Such plugs will give you up to 1/3 power of nitrous oxide can add (af any manufacturers).
And let it be a traditional (not platinum & iridium) with racing tecnology (V-power of NGK or U-type of Denso). It's important to use the catalyse decomposition of nitrous oxide.

umm what if no one around u carries copper plugs LOL. I was picking up new wires (MSD 8.55mm) & I bought some NGK iridium plugs (only type they keep in stock). They are one range colder, should i just return them? Damn $33 LOL

Edit: They are not platinm either, they r NGK plugs

Better in what sense? Power wise the best plug you can get is silver, because silver is the best conductor -unfortunatly not as easy to come by-. Most people use copper in performance applications. Reason you dont want to use platinum, double platinum, platinumed 75 times over, or iridium is because they are high resistance plugs and are more oriented torwards durability. Imagine having to change the spark plugs in a 5.4L Triton V8 F-150 every 15K miles! Therefor double platinums are used.

Miami: I definatly do not recommend you spray with anything but copper, I definatly wouldnt want to get a misfire while running boost and nitrous.

Let me make this easy: If you own a N/T car and need a plug for nitrous read this....

- Your standard plug is BKR6ES in a N/T
- For nitrous use a BKR7ES (one range colder hense the 7)
- Cant find it? http://www.clubplug.net/retail_complete_ngk.html ($2.00 ea must buy 10, you will need them) Scroll 1/3 of the way down.
- Your standard Gap is .050 (I believe) trim that down to .035 minimum and go from there. If you have misfire (ie. backfireing hesitation surging etc.) gap tighter.
- You will need to change your plugs every 3-4 bottles of nitrous. Just do it and don't think about it. Nitrous loves to eat up plugs thats why your buying 10.

DO NOT USE: Turbo car plugs BPR7ES, Platinum, Double Platinum, Iridium, Splitfire or any other garbage on a Nitrous car. Period end of story. I don't care if the box is prettier, your buddy says he got a 100hp increase from them whatever. Use COPPER only on a NITROUS car. If you have nitrous, you can no longer buy plugs like an N/A car so stop reading stuff on the internet designed for an N/A car because you are not an N/A car you are a nitrous car and none of that information partains to you.

This information has been given out in this thread a few times already and people are not reading or understanding. Reasons why not to use certain plugs have been given over and over. If your not going to listen then why keep posting asking the same questions over and over?
