Well i have all the ordinary things all dsmers have these days, an awd 1g with a 20g, wastegate, 750cc, afc, etc etc. However I was thinking of getting a 3"GM mas and translator as the nest upgrade. I am currently runningthe 2G mas on my 1G and wanted to ask you guys if its worth boig with the GM mas instead of the 2G? since they say that the 2g can handle high HP anyways.

All I would need is a 3"GM mas, translator, two 3"-2.5" reducer couplers, clamps and a little bit of time, right? Installation wouldn't be much.

I have also heard that you can adjust the fuel trims or something like that with the GM mas...does this mean with the afc or what?

I've been saying in other threads now how people should consider going with the Pro-M over the GM MAF.

You will not need a S-AFC to tune your car because the pro-m comes with everything and it is MUCH more accurate then the GM unit and your car will run better in any condition.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask here. or PM me I have been tuning with a GM mas amd MAFT for over a year and a half now..

Thanks! Thats a great site to start off with. So I guess I just need a palm pilot with the obd1 program to record all the data right?

is installation pretty much straight forward?
