GM 3" MAS and 3.5" MAS OD/ID? Who has them? Help!

I have posted this a few other places but I have not recived a clear answer. Someone please help out.
Hey, I got this MAS and I thought it was a GM 3"... I never bothered measuring it or anything. Well, I ordered 3.25" ID couplers and they don't fit.
I took some measurements and I don't know what MAS this is. I have heard that the 3" is 3.2-3.25 OD and this is most certainly larger than that. It is also smaller than 3.5" ID. So what is it?

That is definately not a 3in maf. The 3in maf has the square in the casting at the bottom and the 3.5 has the square in the bottom corner.

I also measure the 3.5in one i have and it is the same size as what you measured.

yeap that is a 3.5, go with the 3" the 3.5" is over kill and does not read as well as the 3"

I am shooting for 670+awhp so the 3.5 wont hurt. The problem is my buddies 3.5" LSX GM MAS is 3.75 OD. So if his is 3.75OD then what MAS is this?
This came out of a 1999 Suburban with a 350 in it. It should be 3" but it measures larger than that. It also measures small than a 3.5" unit so I trying to get some clarification so I can understand where to set the switched n the Translator.
