Hello Guys!
I'm an absolute newbie when it comes to information about imports and nitrous oxide. I've had quite a bit of experience with Ford and GM setups and would now like to venture into becoming an "expert" on the import side of things. I've got a few questions and any information provided is appreciated!

1. Ignition questions:
* Where and how are tachometer signals provided on the DSM cars?
** Does the PCM provide a "clean" tach signal that can be "recognized"
by standard RPM activated equipment?
*** Is this signal a +12V square wave?
****Are these signals in 4 cylinder mode?

2. RPM ranges
* What typical RPM ranges do you guys spray in?

3. Shot sizing
* What size (HP) shot is typical for these types of cars?

Any and all information is appreciated! Thank you.

Uhhh...ignition questions you should prolly aim at another forum, then put 2 and 2 together and get an overall answer for what your asking here.

I've been recommending no more than a minimum of 2700 rpms, as a shot can provide to much pressure IMO on the engine at that low of a stage, because it normally revs slower at lower RPMs.

A non-built block I'd recommend a 55-75 shot, with an increasing shot after increase internal strength.

Thanks for the input guys...

What forum should I post the ignition questions at?

My main question is this: what do you guys connect your RPM activated devices to: a coil or a tach signal from the computer?

Any info appreciated.
