New to the tuning scene

Well first off I am Eric a complete newbie at the whole tuning and dsm thing, I do have automotive experiance though but its more grunt work not in depth,

I gave the whole tuning thing a wack, I read and read and read on ecmlink tuning, got a few parameters and tried adjusting every thing to get all my numbers right, i got it pretty much set but now it likes to sputter and pre-ignite

what I am asking is, if i run it like this is it gonna grenade? and if it is how would i adjust it to not do this symptom?

First thing to point out is you have no WB input assigned yet it looks like your trying to use NBsim?

I do not have a wb input assigned. Not sure how to do that with the tech edge la1, tried once but it didnt work, if anyone has info on that, that'd be terrific. I have a program called tewblog thats supposed to be for the techedge and it wont even connect too that.

what all is done to the car? is it stock? before tuning it anymore figure out that O2.

I am not familiar with the wiring and operation of your WB but the main part you missed is step 4 here--> installnewsensor [ECMTuning - wiki]

If you have a front O2 I wouldn't suggest using NBsim unless you put your WB in the front location. Then plug the rear and lock it in ECMLink. If you leave it in the rear location just set the pin assignment. If you really want to use NBsim you will need to know the switch point and the scale of the LA1.

the tech edge has its own little computer that stores data logs, it has a usb connector that plugs into my commputer. But the problem is that it says there is no driver

Config--> WButil (DConf) - Configuration and Utility Software for WBo2 (Tech Edge)

Hope this helps. Mind that I have no experience with your WB. Remember, Google is your friend.

Here's your log with some changes until you get your wb configured. Look them over and use what you see fit to. I didn't mess with your maf, timing, or fuel.

driver did not work, told it exactly where it was and it still says the the file i selected contained no drivers

Did you unpack the driver from the zip file?

I unzipped the file. Then I went into the folder and there is a install.exe file. When I clicked that it installed 2 drivers. That should work? I'm on Vista btw.

I dont have vista I have windows 7, but I figured it out. I had to have the file converted by a different program. Ill make a data log tonight on my way to work and upload it when I get home
