Hello my name is Cody and even though im really into hondas i happened to find a abandond 1g gsx next to us where we store our 5th wheel and it has practically every thing except tranny but its been in the same spot for 2years and i hate seeing such potential going to waste and its rims look like they just came out of box and tires have 80%'ish tread left body/motor only have 151k and i have a feeling i could get it for under a $1k ,but i dont know if it'll run even though i would love to sell my lx sedan and put it into buying/bringing back to life the eclipse. so ill be searching classifieds for a good tranny in oregon and if you are reading this and got one send me a pm. i found 1 for $250 w/11k mile rebuild but it was an old post. and as my name say im noob and dont know a whole lot but im looking to buy a haynes manual and DIY rebuild if i can get the car for a good price. and if i can ill try and post picks within the next few weeks so you guys can get an idea of what im dealing with. so thanks to every1 who reads this and any advice is greatly appreciated!

No. Bankruptcy is just a byproduct of becoming a DSMer, regardless of the DSM.

oh . but when i first looked at it i thought it had no motor just shell and not worth crap but i decided to take a peak under the hood and boom theres a clean as hell 4g63t looks to be bone stock w/exhaust and as stated everything is there except tranny and probably new batterie

Definately grab that GSX. Sounds like it could be worth the ride. Like you said, there's a lot of potential in that car.
