New Spyder owner, couple easy questions

Hey all, I have been lurking for a little bit, learning tons of things from here and thought I would say hi. I recently bought a silver 98 Spyder GS with 109k miles on it. I got it for a good price because the guy had let it sit outside for a year so I have been ripping it apart to clean it up. The owner before this guy did a bit of work on it, as far as I can tell I have KYB AGX struts with Eibach springs, NGK plugs and wires, 17 in Momo wheels, some sort of cold air intake with a big 4.5in injen filter on it, and a Clifford alarm system. The power steering pump was squealing on a cold start so a new one is in the mail.

-What do the stock gauges look like? The ones I have are white with a shiny metal surround.
-The bottom panels on each side seem to be a different color then the rest of the body, is that normal?
-Obviously since it is a Spyder the thing leaks like a sieve and I am thinking about replacing the top, has anyone experienced the back window becoming almost opaque? It's like permanent fog that you can't fell on either side.

Being that it's a '98 model, it's gauges should be the normal stock black faced gauges that they had from '95-'98. '99 models had white face gauges. No model year had the gauges surrounded by metal though.

As for your rear window, if you're replacing the top, you won't have to worry about it. but until then, you should be able to use whatever chemical it is that is used to clear up head lights.
