i'll go but my auto-to-manual conversion isn't done yet, in actuallity it's not even started yet..., so unfortuently i'll be probably one of the only dreaded AUTOMATICS there...please tell me somebody else has an auto!

P.S. If you want to have it every week meet, shouldnt the thread read, "Schaumburg "Weekly" Meet". Annual would mean once a year like the shootout.

I know CarMax was hiring big time this summer, which is when I was hired. They still have the "Now Hiring" stickers on all the offices at CarMax so I am assuming that they are still hiring. I dont know if they are just hiring for any specific positions. Best way is to come in, grab and app, and your like almost 100% guaranteed an interview. They have been doing them for every Wednesday since I've started (04/04).

i'm going to UTI in about a month i talked to this guy there he said the parts should run about 600-800 (used) of course and then i'm doing it myself at school, i've heard if you take it to www.automotorsports.com it'll run you about 1000 if you bring your own shit in, but hey my dsm bodys is GREAT shape so why not put the money into it ya know

Mines auto also, I have to bring my Gs because the Gs-T doesn't have plates and insurance and all that good stuff. I want to convert mine to manual also, whats that cost?

that's cool but if it's a nice night and there's lots of peeps there, the cops block off the streets and parking becomes a problem...im not tryin to shoot down ur suggestions, im just lettin ya know what might happen...

Well what i'm planning on doing is trying to find a turbo manual at the junkyard or mabye just buying one...not exactly sure yet, if ya guys want we can talk about it when we all meet up? i heard the job itself isn't "that" hard to do, just very time consuming, i mean face it were working on dsm's here hah but i mean none the less i'd say anywhere from about 500-1000 for labor becuase it is very labor intensive, thats why i'm just gonna take my time and do it myself

anyways about the alternate meeting spot that sounds good, but you knwo what we should all do!! we should all take a lap through there in a line that'd be so cool, like 10-15 dsm's rollin by!!

we can go right and get on to Meachem Rd. (Right on Meachem Rd.) go to Golf Rd. (Left) and down to the portillo's (after Plumgrove Rd.) if that is no good we can keep going to Roselle Rd. (Left) and go down to the BK There is a back up plan from hell

the insurance company after a week of wainting finally decided that now is a good time to start working on the car.....@#!%!!!!!!

im might hitch a ride but nethertheless my car won't be at this meet but it will attend sept. 18th
