well i was driving home the other day and my car started to miss. it idled ruff at about 1500 and then went back to normal. i got it home and it idled fine but if i give it gas enough to build up boost and let off, it idles ruff at 1500 again. it through a cel and flashed 14 or 15 times. i have not driven it yet but when i start it up it idles fine. only when i give it gas does it act up. it sounds like one big miss. i have changed the coil pack and plugs. it sounds like a sensor or something went bad any ideas?

Does it do that at WOT?? My car occasionally has a horrible time accelerating. Only at about 50% throttle though, if I floor it, it will accelerate fine, and after awhile of the missing, it will seem to fix itself. Only to come back later.

i messed around with the map sensor and nothing happened. so i took a look at the back of the intake and my intake temp sensor was broke. it must have happened when i jacked up and down on the motor. anyway i kinda glued it back togeather and my car runs fine now. does that sensor make my car run bad? how?

probably because your car adjusts fuel based on the air intake temp

just to update. that stupid sensor messed up again today and i had to pull over and mess with it again to make my car run right. so i called the dealership and they want like 70 bucks for that thing. none of the junk yards around here have it. so i went to napa and they didn't have it. then on a last ditch effort i went to autozone and they ordered it for like 26 bucks. i hope it's the right part.
