Agreed, or at least paint both sides instead of just the passengers. Also do something with the heat shield as obviously the paint didnt hold. Fix the passenger rear wheelwell area where the fiberglass is damaged, as well as the rear bumper where the paint cracked off just under the center taillight, and the area to the right of the passenger rear reverse light. The license plate lights look like they are just hanging down, and what happened to the roof??? Did they take out the sunroof?

Im sorry but I dont think Eclipses look right with a body kit, stock look would be better (97-99)... but its a project car and I take it you got it with a body kit.

Good thing you saved that car. The blue coolant reservoir and the blue cap on the wiper fluid is just too rice.

I'm also going to take a guess and say that the wiper fluid squirters also light up blue?

Ok guys. I got this car for 500 bucks. It has a built motor with JE pistons and eagle rods and stage 1 cams. The motor has 3000 miles on it. I just got it and yes I saved the poor thing. The body needs big work he had a body kit put on and had the body lines taken off. When I got it, it had no bumper. So I bought the bumper the other day and painted it. The roof had a tree fall on it and it was fixed but needs painted.
All the blue u see was from the previous owner! So please ease a bit . Its a work in progress but has big potential!

It does have potential, clean up the engine bay fix everything the last own did including the body kit and you should be fine, very nice find for 500$. Also, did you prefer the 2ga front? Just wondering since you had the option of 2gb or even a talon front would have been pretty sick. All in all goodluck bud.

I would say its baecause the 420a's are a lot cheaper than a turbo model DSM, so kids can afford it and put useless things on the car... I got nothing against the 420a's I still own a fully built 420a (sittin down the basement) but I dont have a shell to put it in

My observation has been that those "performance oriented" people will buy the 4G63 equipped car and mod for power. While those "aesthetic oriented" people who aren't chasing any numbers opt for the 420a equipped cars and mod for their personal taste...

I think the car looks pretty good, the body kit really doesn't look that bad, at least the pieces aren't all blue haha. But for $500, hell yeah. I would have bought that for $500 even if the whole thing was painted that color blue.

thanx guys. i apperciate all the complaments. the reason i got the 2Ga bumper was ### the 2Gb bumper was TOO close to the ground and would have been hitting the ground going down drive ways. i do love the way 2Gb bumper better though. but im thinking about keeping the body kit on it and fixing all the fiber glass cracks. it would coast way too much money to take off all the kit because its all molded on there with no body lines. so im thinking about jist fixing the kit. let me know what u guys think. thanx guys.
O BTW i dynoed the car car and its putting down 161 hp! im happy. i had a zex kit on it for like a week (75 shot). ran beautifully! but i traded the zex kit to a guy for a T3/T4 turbo and manifold!

and to the guy who asked what are the cams. they are Crane 0012 cams
