I just moved out here to Metairie from the SF Bay Area. I would like to meet with other DSM'ers/motor heads is the area and get familierized with the scene out here. Like where are the good area's to cruise? Performance part shops? Nearest nitrous oxide fill station?

In Mobile, AL theres a place called TDC Performance. My buddy got his talon tuned by them and I actually bought my dsm from the owner. Only about a 2 hour drive

97 gst spyder and 98 gst coupe here, both getting worked on but im stationed up in fort polk aka leesville area but should be done with the 98 by end of this month and hoping to meet other DSMers. There all about Hondas over there. Im not going to bash them to bad but I had my run in with them about 2 years ago and it wasnt a pleasant experience. Overpriced and charged me for a tune they didnt even do. Needless to say ill never go back. Although I will say Chin one of their mechanics is a great guy. Id let him work on my car anytime on the side.

TDC tuned my car and Joe is a DSM master. I don't know what happened with you but maybe you should talk to them about it.

Honda's are definitely not they're only customer any more. Lots of DSMs and Evo's go there and there is the toyotas and.... well just about everyone. They've come to be awesome and it's the only place I'll take my car to be worked on by anyone.

Im not sure I met Joe. Is he a recent addition to TDC? Tampa mike was doing the tuning when I was there and im not sure he was the "actual" guy tuning. Their mechanics were awesome but the service left a bad taste in my mouth.
