Finally got my Talon back :rocks:! Let's set a meeting up.. something easy like the lakefront by Landry's on a sunday. How bout it? Give your ideas so we can make this happen unlike the last time. :thumb:

By the way, how's everyone else's car(s) in the area doing? Mine's runnin good.
 
what up guys? i had to stop messin with the car for a while due to remodeling my house. the good news is, though, that the car is running well exept for a leaky TB shaft seal. let me know when ya'll want to get together. I'm off 4 days every other week.

Kongo, what kind of controller are you using?
 
How about we can try for sunday the 26th? If anyone has a better date or if this can't work with someone then speak up. Maybe around 1:00 in the afternoon? I'll try to bring my icechest or something. Mm the thought of a bunch of dsms in one place is a good feeling :D
 
hey guys i have a 93 talon i been waiting to find a few friends from around here with dsms.i had a dsm sence i was 15 im now 23.im from gretna la right outside new orleans
 
I won't make any promises as I am on call this weekend, but, if I'm not called out I'll plan to be there.
 
Its all good. Ill be there with an ice chest... nothing fancy just gonna chill. Lakefront parking lot across from landry's restaurant... 1:00 sound good? if thats too early we can bump it forward.
 
I'll try and make it for 4pm on the lakefront as I'm coming from hammond. I'll be in an all black 2g talon. I'll probably be playing frisbee if it isn't 100+degrees out.
I noticed that there are a lot of dsm's for sale locally. SNI is full of them including mine.
 
man this sounds like a good turn out but ill be offshore. Right there in landrys parking lot too damn thats a good place to meet know right where it is too. :thumb:
 
Hey guys, if I'm still on the beach, I'll go. I actually just got back from being offshore last night. Hopefully I don't get called out again! My car is doing pretty well, I just got done putting a custom 3" exhaust on, so it sounds a little better. I'll definitely be there if I can make it :D
 
i enjoyed the little get togethe. wannarace glad u came down always can count on u not as many dsm but plenty of car people. my car was spiking like crazy because of the weahter change from hot to cool dense. i pulled the hell out of my freind evo in 2nd gear. :cool:
 
Sorry guys, I'd make a showing and hang out but I'm non-dsm now. I got a b20'd Integra and just trying to keep the bills paid until one day I may can get another dsm. Glad to see you guys are having a blast tho!

If there is any anticipation of getting another DSM, whatsoever. Then you are a DSM'er at heart. I know how it goes man, I had a GSR untill I was ready to get back into mine. Sold it when I started up again. Come out with the B20 next time. I'm actually kinda curious cause I thought about doing that to mine before I got rid of it.

All in all I love the b20 the torque on it is great but the high end just isn't there unless I vtec it (shrugs), which I don't want to do. DSM's... hah I still remember my Talon, remember shipping the tranny to ole Shep or even getting the 6bolt swap in it.

Damn cars, they really drain you!
