ok, i want to order this, but its like 700 bux, and I plan on getting hedman HTC stepped headers, which are also 700 bux, so, if you guys think this intake mod will work, plz tell me, because than I would rather order that than the headers.

I don't know if that woudl work or not. All I know is that I'm happy with the translator. It doesn't look like it has the same tuning options as the translator. Besides, if you look inside a GM MAF, it isn't that restrictive at all. It looks like some aspects of it actually help accelerate the air also. All I know is that mine feels like a new car with it on. And, it's half as expensive.

I second that! I just got mine installed last weekend. GM MAF along with the translator and whatever piping I needed to extend the intake came to $300. That is a lot cheaper than going any other direction, and after a week of playing with the tuning, I finally got it dialed in and am very impressed with the gains I recieved from it. :thumb: The tuning capabilities of the MAFT is what seperates it from any of the other competitors. Well worth the money.
