I just put on a greddy ic piping and type s bov, and i've had nothing but problems. at first i was blowing off couplers, so i bought all new turbonetics ones, now, car lags and wont spool fast, awful gas mileage, and shitty idle. my bov is got about 4/5 threads showing, and it does more of a high pitched whistle than a whooosh. is that normal for a type s? anyone dealt with this before? any help is appreciated.

yea dat sound is normal...the type s sounds mad high pitched. As far as ur problem, make sure ur bov is not leakin air into ur intake and even worse back to the atmosphere if u r ventingand tighten every coupler as tight as possible....other than that i dunno. good luck

no, i am recirculating, after reading what venting can do, im all set with that. anyone else??? :dsm:

You have a vacuum leak either in the piping or the bov. You are just going to have to do a thorough check because it really can't be anything else.

thanks for the help with all of this. you guys rock. see ya i'll keep you posted on the results.
