Ok here is a pic of how my bay started and where it is right now. Still a work in progress any pointers are appreciated. Also is there anyway to get rid of the power steering lines going down the driver side without losing ps?

You could just go to a Hydraulic shop and have some new lines made and run them under the frame rail, but as far as using the stock lines, probably not.

Yeah, get rid of the fake ss sleeves and nuts, weight reduction sir, weight reduction.

You should get a bigger air filter, that small one is reducing flow, seriously.

That cop was a waste of money and will likely give you problems soon.

With what the SS wrap weighs I can take a crap before I race to make up for it ;) LOL. At my current power levels that little of weight is no a huge deal to me, maybe down the road but not right now.

I should have my k&n drop in next week or so so that will take care of that, and I agree that measly filter isn't doing anything but hurting.

The cop I mainly got because I was sparking out my wires somewhere and the coil was acting up, so I just splurged on the cop. I don't call it a waste because I wanted them and I think they make the engine bay looks 100x better with them. Besides my maintance is up to date and she has been doing pretty good so why not reward her?

Thanks for the input.

Remove Cruise Control, also do a better job of "tucking/routing" those vacuum lines coming off the intake manifold, they stick out a lot.

I also agree with ditching the fake SS stuff, not for weight savings or anything, just personally I think it looks terrible, especially all scrunched up like it is on the BOV return. Just my opinion though, if you like it, rock it.

You could also delete all the vac lines coming off of the TB and their respected solenoids.

Yea I'm going to clean up all he vac lines next and use iirc "voodoo" vac delete diagram to get rid of everything besides the necessary like bov and fpr. I'll delete the rest of the cc when I can find a non cruise in the junkyard LOL.

The fake ss looked better on the bov before I took the hose off and on 10 times LOL. You can only twist it so many times before it starts to mess up.
Thanks for the input, like I said its a work in progress. It was nice the other day so I started cleaning with purple power, and that led to mounting the fuse box inter the intake pipe since everything was already off for cleaning and the battery was already relocated. May do the vac lines today or tomorrow and clean some more since the weather is crappy.

There is also so much room when you get rid of the battery and charcoal canister LOL. I think I'm going to mover the cheap catch can to where the battery was and hook it up to the pcv valve hole also.

I hate you.

Nah I'm just playing, I'm just very jealous LOL. Maybe one day I'll be there LOL. I'm thinking about pulling the motor this winter and doing a full wire tuck, with welding the holes and paint etc. I just don't know if I have the patience for it or not LOL, that why I'm just doing the basic stuff right now hoping it will give me the motivation to go all the way haha.

Wow very nice eclipseowner.
Definetly not a dd. I heard negative results about running a filter off the turbo like that but it sure does look clean.

What "negative" results have you heard?

And its not a DD, but its definitely a street car, I take it out several times a week.

Id much rather find the articles that mentioned it but I am at work. With the filter close to the turbo like that, the air doesnt have as much time to form a uniform flow like it does down an intake. This causes turbulent air to enter the turbine which is undesirable.
Also the intake is obviously great for colder locations rather then underneeth the exhaust manifold.

But this could just be picky people who have no idea what they are talking about and it really might not matter.
