New car, And feels slow!

Ok I just picked up a 1g GSX with some mods 16g FMIC full exhaust ETC!! In any event this car feels slow! Seing 12 pounds but somthing is not right, does not pull hard at all! What r some things to check first?

I would do a compression and boost leak test

DID a leak down 10% across check to make shure timming belt has not skiped, thats ok! and no leaks!

do you have a logger? what is your base timing set at? What kind of electronic advance are you seeing? Are you seeing timing pulled due to knock? etc etc.

Start going through the simple questions first. Check the timing with a timing light, do a boost leak test. Compression test the cylinders (though that really only tells you if you will build boost fast. On crap compression just crank up the boost until you do a rebuild ). Make sure something simple isn't being overlooked.

Update Fixed, MAF had oil on it, from filter car pulls pretty well for 13 pounds!
