Same thing happened to my buddies 1st gen a while back on his car the exhaust was even scraped up.. WTF I searously they need to update the tow trucks and make some that work on lowered cars.. only good thing is your bumper not being painted yet, if it was i bet you would have gone :ninja: assasin on him.. ROFL

that sucks man that happened to me but it happened to my 92 dynasty that was grandpa driven and had the original tires on it so they were dry rotted but the car was nice, till they only put 1 chain and put the parking brake on and my front end fell off the tow truck and smashed the whole right corner up. this happened this year and the car only has 50,168 miles on is and still shakes and drives like shit sense they fixed it

Thank god we have a good tow service around here.

West Side towing, to my knowledge they have towed a FC-RX7 rocking a catipillar turbo with full coil over suspension, my buddies 1990 Talon AWD lowered about 2 inches, my focus which was lowered two inches with a front bumper lip, and my eagle talon, and my GTI which was well slammed.....none of which they have messed up.

Hope it gets fixed just glad we have a "tuner" friendly towing company around here.

Good luck getting all that shit covered, tow companies are the worse pos companies to deal with.

"some"

I've never had an issue with my dsm getting towed in this area, and I have witnessed a tower back into mail boxes and there was absolutely no issues getting the money to repair them.

Towers may not be the best paid and sharpest knife in the drawer but they do know they have to treat customers with respect and take extreme care of the vehicles they tow, otherwise they would not get business. Everyone has a bad night and accidents do happen.

This tower did sound like an ass, I suggest you call the tow company and tell them about what happened especially the disrespect.

Damn man that's too bad. I'm not a fan of most tow truck drivers, especially when they just slap the chains on and drag the car onto the bed. I had something similar happen to my evo when it was getting towed and the front mount as well as the front bumper needed to be replaced :(

Hit me up if you are going to replace that fmic, I can get you setup with a discounted FMIC kit to help ease some of the pain :)

Well the good news is that you got the car back to the house. :D but it does suck that the stupid S.O.B obviously knows how to do his job. (sarcasim is my best friend :D) Good luck fighting it and hopefully you win!

so i just spent the last few hours fixing everything from my powersteering lines my stock smiley face bumper is back on no more intercooler because its trash new alternator and new 14b turbo for kicks cause it came in the mail today haha

hahaha ok ok...Sorry guys, I'm working on it.

is that good???:idontknow:

You should have called the police right away that should be an insurance claim, and with a flatbed tow truck the inclination of the bed will always interfere with a low vehicle height, you're suppose to remove your bumper if this was an issue you could have foreseen.

Do you drive diagonally up your driveway?

My driveway is straight and level the pics were in front of my house on the street...good news though I took the pics to the tow company and they appologized and cut me a check for the list of pars I gave them that needed replaced they said this isn't the first complaint with this guy (sorry for the bad grammer again I'm on my cell phone at work typing this)

i was shadowing for an internship at a bmw dealer in highschool and they got asked to do an alignment on a new enzo because the ferrari dealer just cross town had their machine down. it was quite the spectacle, long ass boards cramped in a tight bay with everyone back there watching every square inch of the car as not to damage it.

That was good of them to pay for it.

I have a trailer I use for work. I store it at a local tow-truck lot. It's cheap and close. I've noticed very clearly that they have different levels of service. College kids who got their cars towed for parking in the wrong spot, people who's cars got towed because they were arrested, etc...They have to wait for service. And they pay 3 times as much. I get to go to the front of the line while they make those other people wait.

When my car got totalled a little while back, I had the cop call those guys to come tow my Eclipse. I knew I'd know the driver, and that I'd have access to my car ASAP (The wreck occurred on a Friday night, I have a key to their lot!). Even though it was FWD, he showed-up w/ a flat-bed. He had me help him get it on there, without damage. Even though it was totalled.

I'd had my car towed once before, from a GF's apartment lot. My stash was in the car. I went out to the car to get it. The car was gone. I walked inside, called "Joe's Towing"(the local tow-whores who get all the DUIs, college apartments, etc...).

I called them and said "Where's my car?".
The lady said: "Liscence #?".
I said: "I-L-five-ten-two-six-nine."
She said: "We got it, Springfield Road."

When the GF got back from work, she took me to go get it. I was terrified that every single thing inside the car would be gone. Stereo, shades, stash... I was hanging out with this Harley guy at the time. He had some biker-buddies who worked for a tow-company. They did re-pos. They were always bragging about, and showing-off, all of the stuff they had stolen from peoples' cars.

Well, anyway, my car was un-hurt, everything was there, even my stash:cool: I guess I'm lucky about the FWD. I've heard horror stories about people seeing their own car being dragged down the road, on a hook, with the rear wheels locked-up and dragging:notgood:

Wow that sucks, same thing happened to me 3 weeks ago except it was my Dad and not a tow truck driver Lol.

I'm surprised a MOD hasn't banned you yet, you said your not dumb but if someone were to read your thread I'm pretty sure people would think different. Not trying to be a dick, just stating facts.
