I have a problem I can't figure out why I have a misfire. I have done a compression test that was great, pressure tested fine, plugs are clean, wires are brand new, fuel filter is brand new.

The misfire will be worse at start-up. It will get better until operating temperature and then it will just sputter at idle. I don't notice the miss very often when I'm driving the car. There is also no smoke of any color coming from the exhaust. The rpm's do rise at the same time it will sputter, and it hasn't thrown any codes.

Any help would be great, thanks for reading.

Any ideas at all?

Pressure tested "fine"? Does that mean leak free? Or just some little leaks that "shouldnt matter?" Not trying to be a dick...its just that my car has the tiniest boost leak out of the throttle body seal and I am almost sure its causing the same sort of problem.

Think about it...the car is in open loop at warmup so its not taking any feedback from the o2...AFRs jump around, and if there is a leak that close to the intake mani it will screw it up even more. Car warms up, o2 starts cycling, and it runs a bit better but still misses.

If you're leak free, disregard that.
