Well, I´m quite lost XD

By the moment I have intalled or at home to be installed

XSPower Exhaust manifold
FP old T28 ported with O2 ported
3" turboback without cat
walbro 190 rewired
FMIC custom 2.5" pipes, upper Greddy pipes and universal IC
NGR Type-S BOV
HKS EVC VI boost controller
Boost, oil temp, and A/F narrow band gauges (I know last gauge is a stupig gauge XD )
Injen style Intake
Ngk iridium IX spark plugs and NGK spark plug wires
FIC 680 injectors

Now, what I will need???
I don´t want to use SAFC, i don´t want another ""gameboy"" on the car EVC VI is the only one I want
I thought to buy ECMLINK but I´m not sure if it will be all I need.... so I need help
Do I really need a wideband???
DO I really need an AFPR?? Aeromotive, or what??

Sorry, but I don´t want to break my engine, and i hope you to help me :D

Thanks in advance:thumb:

I forgot, I´d like to buy a FP GREEN on a nearly future....

if you plan on tuning, you will want a wideband, even if you get dsmlink. With a 190, an AFPR isn't necessary, but once you step up to 255, you'll need one. Any AFPR will work as long as it raises at a 1:1 ratio. DSMLink (now ECMLink) will have everything you need, especially with the updates they are planning to release soon. If you go up to bigger injectors than the 680's, an SAFC will not handle them anyway, so if you plan to upgrade, plan to get link, a keydiver chip, AEM EMS, or something in that area.

Thanks, I think i won´t need a walbro 255,I ""only"" want about 400HP in a future when i´ll buy the FP green or some like that

But by the moment If I install all I have and my car is about 260HP i´ll be very happy :D

Another question, how much psi should I use with the T28?? 14PSI is ok?

Don't hold me to this, but I'm not sure the 190 pump will flow enough to reach your 400hp goal. If you search on this site there are a lot of threads on how much the 190 pump can flow even if it's rewired. Compare that to how much you guesstimate the turbo will flow (can probably find that by searching a little harder or looking on the manufacturers website). Another "don't hold me to it" but I think 14 psi is also ok; I believe that's right around stock level

400HP is definitely out of the range of a 190. If you are serious enough to think about ECMLink, you should be using at least a 255 and an AFPR. Otherwise, it's like having Mario Batali make you toast. Keep in mind you will need a laptop or compatible palm to run the software.

And throw out those Iridium plugs. Our cars work best on NGK BPR 6ES. If you plan on running more than 20psi, you can upgrade to NGK BPR 7ES.

Thank you very much :D
I´m here to learn, and I think i´m going to learn a lot, THANKS
I already have a laptop, and I´m searching for an FPR I´m between Aeromotive and Fuellab

I didn´t know iridium sparks were worse than oem NGK, i have a set of BPR6ES at home, I remove them thinking Iridium IX will be a better choice...... but now i´m going to put them back, thanks ;)

Where or how could i see how much air spools my turbo, and how much fuel I need for that??
And a stupid dude, if I have the correct A/F how mani PSI could I run on my Stock engine?

If you know the model of the turbo you want (or even if you just want to compare), find the manufacturers website and look at flowcharts. Not only will you see the airflow (lb/min) but you will see the turbo's efficiency range, so that you can get the best one for the setup you are trying to build (DD, drag only, autox, etc).

I know I spent a lot of time on garrett's site before finally settling on a 3076 for my other car, just comparing flow charts with 2 or 3 turbo's I had been thinking about.

If you can get your hands on a 95 eprom ecu. You can have it socketed-$60 and purchase the Ostrich emulator -$175 with TunerproRT -$free$ for fuel/timing control as a cheap option.
A lot of guys are going with the Evo8 ecus as well.
Maft Gen2 is another nice product for under $300 that will work with 2g or gm maf and has a "target a/f" function when used with wideband.
You should definitely get a wideband for your tuning
Ditch the iridium plugs and get a set bpr7es or br7es(non-projected)

Well i have at home an old FPt28 turbocharger, so i´l to find more info about it :D

I already have an eprom ECU installed, and I´d like to buy ECMLINK, but people told me that I need other things before, and that ECMlink were ging to be insufficient to keep the A/F ratio ok, so if you tell me ECMlink is all I need i´l buy it next week

I haven´t heard nothing about EVO8 ECUs on DSMs.... could you put a link for some extra info?? :D
About the wide band.....well i´ll buy one, for my birthday next month :D

Thanks thanks and thanks, DSMtunners is just what I need, we have a little forum on Spain about Eclipses, but.....almost anyone tune them and there is no useful info :(

The FP T28 is a great little bolt-on upgrade from stock. Barely slower spool time than stock and much better top end. People generally get into the mid-high 200 hp with it. Forced Performance Turbochargers: DSM FP Big 28 Turbo

ECMLink is all you need for tuning, but without other mods it's like a cook without a kitchen. Some fuel mods like a fuel pump, AFPR, and larger injectors are needed if you're looking for any power substantially higher than stock. And of course, you'll need that wideband.

I bought a set of FIC 680cc
And i don´t know what to buy, Aeormotive or fuellab AFPR
And the wideband... i don´t know which should I buy.....

If you shop around online you can find the Innovate LC-1 wideband w/ guage for around $200. AEM will run around the same but it is not programmable like the LC-1
Aeromotive and Fuellab are both reputable companies

Of course I buy on EBAY, is the only way to buy performance parts for a reasonable price
I´m going to buy Fuellab FPR, it is purple, as my BOV jejejejeje
And I´m going to check the innovate LC-1 thanks ;)
