need some advice on fpr

Yes I had a B&M one and NEVER again. The pin inside broke on me and the pressure just kept jumping from 30 to 60psi of fuel when i would just tap the unit.

and plus its not a "REAL" fpr.

Go with something like a AEM unit.

Just FYI, most DSMers around these parts run the Aeromotive 13109. I recommend that one -- it's true that you get what you pay for. They run about $150 or so, but come highly recommended.

Also, Buschur Racing offers a true "bolt on" FPR, but I have no personal experience with it -- Buscher is a very reputable company, though, so I would consider it if I was ever in the market for another AFPR.

I'd be careful with that ebay FPR, $20 seems way to cheap for a nice FPR, theres a reason why it is soo cheap. Id stick to something name brand, if you search around you can find nice deal on used aftermarket FPR's, I bought my Aeromotive FPR with FP gauge for $75, with only about 4k miles on it.

Full Throttle Speed also makes a true bolt on FPR. I use it and love it and it's less expensive than the aeromotive or buschur FPR. Hope this helps.

1) several people have used the b&m fpr (which you asked about in post 2).
2) the reasons why it (b&m fpr) is not acceptable for a dsm.
3) maybe get you to stop half-assing nickle 'n' diming your car.

and yes, once in a blue moon you get more than what you paid for. however, when it come to "cheap" e-bay items, it will be a cheap pos.
