need help with my 93 eclipse

So i bought a 93 Eclipse that had a blown engine. The previous owner put a 2.0L turbo engine in there and only hooked up 1/2 the wires. so I took out the engine and picked up a 92 Talon TSI (no way of saving that car because it met a bus) and started putting that engine into it. So now i have the engine in my eclipse and started wiring it only to find a problem, forgetting that the camshaft sensor and the crankshaft sensor was in the distributor on the 1.8L engines, I now have to figure out how to get those wired up for my new engine. The wiring harness from the Talon is gone, is there any way for me to do this? I still have the CPU from the Talon if that helps in anyway and should i put that in while I'm at it? Will the connections from a 1.8 hook up to a 2.0 turbo CPU? Sorry if these are noob questions, I'm used to working with cars with no computers heh.

i think the ecu plugs the same, but no, the 1.8 harness will not work on a 2.0 you need a turbo harness for a turbo engine, the 1.8 has a totally different pinout.

Okay, found a wiring harness from another 92 Talon TSI. I pulled the one out from my Eclipse and put in the new one. Even found out that the CPU that "was" in the Eclipse was from a 90 Talon, so just to make sure i put in the one from the 92 in (same serial numbers but just playing it safe heh). Though now i have a problem... There is a clip with 11 wires running into it that is close to the CPU and the pins that are supposed to go into it is on a smaller clip (Talon wire harness) and 1/2 of the wire do not match. I couldn't take any pics of it but by the looks of it, its the only clip that is connected to the dash wiring harness. The color of the wires in the small clip is (gonna put it as wire color/ line color/ dot color, since i cant tell if its orange or gold im just gonna say gold by the way) RD/BL/BL, BL/RD, WT/-/GD, WT/-/GD, BK/RD/GD, GN/-/BN, GN/WT, BK/-/GD, RD/BK/BL, RD/BK, RD/GN/BL. Now the larger clip has WT/-/GD,YL/-/GN, RD/GN/BL, RD/BK, RD/BK/BL, BL/BK/BL, YL/RD/GD, RD/WT, BN, BK/RD, YL/WT/RD. Hopefully someone will know what im talking about because i have no clue what pins they are, ill probably have to go out and buy a camera after this just incase there are more problems . oh which reminds also found out the clip for the Power TR unit is not the same, I need a 6 pin connection but the one on the harness is a 8 pin. only difference (besides size) is that there are 2 different wires, do i have to use all the wires or just use the ones that match and tape off the other 2?. the car that this all came off of did not have the unit, im out of luck there so im trying to get the other one that came with the car to work. anyways, enough talk from me for today, if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great. and thanks again ilco187 for the link some of it was helpful to me

so got a new power tr unit so forget about that heh. the clip is C-62 if that helps any, i spent all day looking at wire schematics and all i got out of them was a headache

this is what you are referring to right, its were the engine harness and dash harness connect together.

yeah that would be the one, ive been trying to figure it out but to yet another surprise i now find out the eclipse dash wire harness is from a automatic which explains the larger clip

So after a week of staring at wire schematics I figured the only thing to do is take the dash harness from the talon and install it. Took a better half of a day swapping it out, and in the end the engine fired up. it runs a little ruff atm but ill figure out why later on.
