I got FIC 650's and i want to put them in. my car has a stock rewired fp. Will my fuel pump have enough juice to push through these? I got a Maft Gen2 to controll them. I just dont have any money to get a walbro right now, unless someone is nice enough to donate one:D . And i did search and came up with nothing regarding this.

They shouldn't be any harder to "push through." The fuel is pressurized because of the FPR and when the injectors open the fuel will push through just fine. I hope you have some way of tuning with those injectors. Your pump may run out of juice before you injectors though, so a Walbro would be a good investment for under $100.

Oh yeah, I got the Maft Gen2 for tuning, supposedly it's got more flexability than a Safc2. It's just that I went to the hospital twice within the last month, and had this stuff lying here in a box, figure I put it all in while I'm not doing anything. I've not been working for over two weeks now, and money ran tight so can't get a fuel pump at this moment. But want to put this stuff in while I got the time, get this thing ready to go to the Shootout(I wont be racing though).
Thanks for the reply though.

What year dsm do you ahve? from your profile you're all but stock. Except for these and a MAFT. If you ahve a 2g then you'll have enoguh fuel w/ your stock pump to blow up a t25 (stock on a 2g). If you have a 16, the 14b will kill your engine if you yank on the boost (go above 15 psi or so) w/a stock pump and longblock. A logger is a must to determine what's enough either way. . . As I've seen a t25 kill these "bullit proof engine" because of stupidity. The most cautious can display stupidity. The wisest looks at everything regardless how cautious they are.

I have a 91 rs-t, re-wired fuel pump, Punishment FMIC kit, MBC, 16g, Oil & P/S coolers, modded maf, 2g exhaust mani, O2 housing, and other little things here and there. When I rewired my pump, I used 4-guage wire just to make sure there would not be a loss of voltage. Psi is currently set at 15, but It's not my daily driver and it only sees maybe 10-12psi because of the way I drive it.

Regardless of the way you drive it or not, you need to log your pulls to see where you're at. There's no excuse;). Don't leave your blowing up your engine up to your foot. You have 1g and can even see a direct count of your knock. Fighting off knock is your primary concern as any tune that yields results (the leanest tune, the highest timing, the most boost, all just before knock crops up) puts you close to that threshold.

If you leave your boost at stock levels then you will be absolutely fine. Anything after that, you'll need to log your status to determine what you can do.
