well, i just bought a 95 talon with a 6 bolt last night. I was told that the car has trouble on a cold start because the timing is off.
The guy i bought it from said that the car needs dsmlink, so that you can use the start up fuel enrichment feature?
But also, the guy timed it like a 1g(because of the 6 bolt) but he said that I would need dsmlink in order to see what the ECU has the car timed for.
As you can see I'm not an expert with this dsmlink stuff, I've personally never had it before. But, the car won't start and i need help! great way to earn cash if you're willing to come by today.
Once the car actually starts and warms up, its like a beast and the timing is corrected somehow.
