you could have done it like mine, it is bolted to the trunk floor. the only thing is that the floor has to be taken out go get to the spare tire, but i will never use it anyway.

that would defy the entire purpose of why he did it. he did it so he can have the same bass as you, but still be able to use his trunk. some of us like to be able to use their cars for more than that. since my talon is my only car and i buy groceries i need as much trunk and back seat room as possible.

I like it a lot and those brakets appear to have worked well. I think I may go buy some for my setup. I need to make a new/sturdier floor first.

i actually still have a good bit of room in the trunk...and i do have a smaller box for when i need to put something large in my car. this is my only car too, and i never buy enough groceries to fill up the backseat anyway, so it works for me...

but that does look clean, good job on that box!

2g's are different. Us 1g AWD guys have that stupid freaking hump in the middle. So its kinda different.
