So here are my new seats. I originally didnt plan on the symbol being that big but when they embroidered it, thats how it came out. When you stand back its really not that bad. The perimeter is black french stitching. The inserts are perforated, just the flash makes it look weird as well at the left diamond in the Mitsu symbol. Its obviously solid black. If you don't like them, please no flaming. :thumb:

Looks real nice. Did you do the upholstry install yourself? If so, how hard was it?

Thanks guys, and I wish I was that good with sewing and upholstery. I did not do it. I did my doors though. Obviously not nearly as hard.

You will probably all laugh at me but keep in mind this is a very reputable shop that does work for show lambos, ferarris, vettes and even work for nissan design division. For everything start to finish, including enough R-Blox from firewall to under the rear seats and rebuilding the cushion material under the exterior material was $1100. Quality material, quality work.

sounds like a fair price for a NICE job! looks great man! and i like the logo that big, i think it's just fine that way. any pics of the door and the rest of the interior??

I have pic of the doors in my gallery, I just ordered some extra of the same material they used on my seats though so it will match perfectly. The rest of the interior is stock just 4320572345x cleaner then it was. Its pretty amazing how it all came out. I even got the seat belts looking brand new from the almost black that they were from being so dirty.

What's your cleaning cocktail and regimen? :D

I used a steam cleaner (specifically the McColloch MC1275) and a variety of different steam cleaning chemicals. The stuff that I had to scrub forever before it would begin to come off, came right off with the steam cleaner. HIGHLY recommended! SO worth the money.

For the seat belts, pull all the way out and hold it out with a clip or something. Let soak for a few min in the hottest water you can get and soap. Then scrub with stiff brush. Simple as that. Looks amazing. Tomorrow maybe I can post before and after.

Looks great ! I went to a shop about a year ago to get a quote on this same job you just did - the logo and they told me like 899 or something. Im wondering how hard it would be to do on your own....take the cover off then slit down the seem and put the black in the hole and sew it up....hmmmmmm LOL Nice job ! :sneaky:

if i had seats like that, i would ride around naked all the time.

Lol i agree. Those are kick ass seats!! A much better choice than just opting for racing seats.

Thanks!

Yeah I love the color too! I'm definately glad that I did this and not racing seats.
