well i know i have posted questions about this before...and people asked me to post pics when i was done...well i made my needles all blue....took off the orange paint on the bottom and made them all clear and added led's (went by firebreatha's cardomain site) and this is the first pics of my needles...ive only taken these so far...none of which are in the car (i will take those tonight and post them on here.) theres only a couple things about this project that kinda sucks...my gas gauge might not be working anymore (will see in a couple of days..and if it isnt im going to have to try to fix it by maybe taking off the needle and putting it back on lightly) also my tach gauge and my temp gauge all have to be recalibrated...gonna do that this weekend...but overall i like the look of it all...plus i did the hvac light conversion too...which i accidentally cut the wire for the a/c button and now i dont have a/c...gonna have to fix that tonight...let me know what you guys think...also...when i take later pics of these actually in my car...you will realize that my needle for my temp gauge isnt lit...i dunno how this happened...gonna have to take the cluster apart AGAIN and look at it...bet it just got disconnected somehow...but heres the pics...

i agree nice job...ive been wanting to see how it turned out. looks really nice with the gauge faces you have too..

what did you use to take the orange paint off with??

alright everyone...well i put these in my car....and had to recalibrate them...i think i got them for the most part calibrated...tach may be off by about 30 rpm or so...kinda skips around though (as in sticks in some spots...may have to fix that sometime...probably because its hitting the gauge faces...but its a B@$@% to get back in because all of the damned wires...but here some more pics...

dunno why this one doesnt light up...may have to hook it up to a different wire...get this...if any of yall can solve my little problem here it would be great...when i have the gauges in the car as in completely hooked up and pushed in it doesnt light up...but whenever you take the cluster out of the car (disconnecting them from the 3 connections in the back) this needle lights up...i dunno im confused here...

heres some pictures of my hvac console...i went ahead and did that too..did my ashtray light but didnt really look that great...kinda sucks...oh and while i was taking the light out for my hvac unit...i accidentally cut a wire for my a/c..which meant my a/c didnt work and this is texas and its hotter than hell here! but i quickly fixed that...nothing a little solder and heat cant fix...had such a small space to work in and one side of the wire i spliced was about an inch long! oh and these are actually brighter in person..i gotta say that because the picture was taken only with a camera phone...will get better pics later...tell me what yall think...thanx for all your compliments...oh and...

what did you use to take the orange paint off with??

well what i just used was fingernail polish remover...that orange is really caked on there too...took a lot of rubbin to get it off..but it came off nicely...just dont put too much pressure on your needles...be gentle with them.

YO ucan also purchase complete relacement overlays in you choice of illumination and exterior color.

want silver with blue illumination, done,
want silver purple, black green, silver amber to match those greddy guages, etcetc etc.
then you don't have the thickness problems of things like indiglos.

well i did one more thing today...well did a couple...this is the only one that was worth taking a pic of....
