What do you guys think? It's a FWD with the only mods being a FIPK as well as a high flow muffler. I ran a 19.2 my first run which I missed 2nd and hit my rev limiter, but I recovered for my 2nd run. I only ran a couple times because I think I burnt my clutch up a bit.

I ordered some new parts today(dumped 02 housing, downpipe, MBC, and test pipe) which will hopefully aid in my times.

Lemme know what you guys think...

Its an Ok run I guess but should really work on your driving. did you spin a bit on your lauch?

Edit: didnt read the part about the warn out clutch. Maybee you should fix that before you add anyone parts if its slipping.

I actually didn't spin much on my launch during my good run. I probably only dropped the clutch at 1500 rpm's and shifted at around 5400 because that is when the t25 drops power(that's what I heard?) I am a newbie racer, I will admit that.

When you get more seat time, your times should be more like 14.7-15.0 @95mph, why is your trap speed so low ?

I have actually heard good things about the dumped 02 with a stock turbo, but that is irrevelevant to me. I forgot to mention that I will be adding a 14B from my friend's 1G when I install my new parts as well.

Dude....... Shift at redline, you could've probably done a bit better if you did. I think the people that talk about how the t25 "loses power after 6000" has either a really worn out turbo or their clutch is slipping. When I had my t25 that bi*** pulled and pulled past redline..... also about the "isn't efficient above 16psi" is also a fallacy in some cases. Mine was the fastest when it spiked up to 20psi.

Try shifting either at redline or a tad before it. And about the O2 dump, it will help performance a lot in your case. Since you only have an upgraded MUFFLER and not a whole exhaust system. So you will notice a topend difference.

T25 sucks. Raced a friend with a T28, walked me in third and I had more supporting mods then he did. Only when you get a good comparison like that you get to see first hand the night and day difference. Also had a VP SS O2 dump on the T25. Felt the increase power down low BUT because the dump killed the restriction at the wastegate, it also killed the T25s top end. In other words after the boost spike the boost didn't slowly fall off, it DROPPED! That is something that you will notice. A boost spike will make you car feel faster because of the surge in torque but it is only temperary.

When my car had an Intake, muffler, gutted cat, and a POS boost controller I made myself, I ran a 14.6 @ 96.

think about that...

You've gotten rid of a restriction...which in turn allows the turbo to spin easier. How does that kill topend again?

THINK about it.

you are a fool.

I hope you were just kidding around. If you aren't, tell me what RPM you shift at, and the reason behind it. I see that you are running a 14b...so now you don't have the "power drops off at high rpm" excuse.

2 of my friends shift way before redline, around 5500-6000rpm, it's ridiculous.... every 2 seconds or less they are shifting. IF, picture a scenario whereas we have the same turbo and same mods, and we were to run side by side, while I'm pulling away they're busy banging through all 5 gears while I'm still pulling hard in 3rd. But hey we all have our own driving style, to each their own.

As I said before I'm not saying the T25 is FAST, but I just had no "major power loss at high RPM" like most of you guys did/do.

13.1 @ 105mph

FWD
14b
Full weight minus spare
205/55/16 Street tires(not drag radials)

THAT is my reasoning for not shifting at redline. 6500 rpms in first and 2nd, running 3rd out to the end.
