Ok, I have a 2g Mas that has no honeycombs. The car has a looping idle, bogs and stumbles if I have my SAFC set to "Karmann". However if I set it to "pressure" it runs almost perfect. Is it safe to run the car in "Pressure"? If i put a honeycombs in my 2g Mas would it operate correctly using the "Karmann" setting?

And you took the honeycombs out why? You wanted the car to run badly on purpose?

I actually just bought the car, and I replaced the air filter and noticed the MAS didn't have any honeycombs.

A 2G MAS needs the honeycombs to operate properly .. This is a little different than the 1G MAS which has the lower and upper honeycombs.

the friggen idoit who i bought my car from too took that out and he messed with the adjustment squrew on the bottom. i replaced the maf and my car runs alot better not having a good maf takes away power from car. i'd replace it if i was you.
