I recently upgraded the suspension: Tein SS, front Ingals camber kit, poly bushings, front wheel bearings, and a reman passenger side axle.

Shortly after the install I found the reman axle was puking grease all over the place. I had a look and the outer boot had a slit in it. I then replaced the whole axle with another reman one. Everything was fine for a few weeks. Yesterday when I washed the car, I noticed that the rim yet again was caked in grease and road grit. I felt around the outer boot and there was practically NO boot left.

I did notice that the reman boot is a much softer/pliable rubber than the OEM. Also, the clearance between the boot and the ball joints is half of what the OEM is. I know that the boot is catching on the ball joints, I think that at high speeds the boot is expanding more than the OEM (since it is softer) and therefore catching causing the destruction. Also, could I not have drawn in the axle enough to the hub and that is why it is hitting?

WTF is going on!!

That's the problem. Same thing happened to me. At 120mph it got ripped to shreds. Sill waiting on a new axle.

So I guess the 130mph run last weekend didn't help matters huh?

I just got off the phone with Raxles. He told me the same thing... boot expanding and stuff. He also thinks that the overall diameter of the axle in that section (don't know the name) is bigger.

I just don't want to spend the $150 on top of the $130 I have already spent on the other two axles.
