First time posting here hope someone can help. I've owned the car for about 1 month. I was driving home from work last night in my 92 eclipse gs 2.0 n/t, auto. trans and it died with my foot on the brake sitting at a stop light and I can't get it started now. Seems to turn over fine, seems to be getting fuel, battery seems fine all lights and stereo work but it almost seems to me it's not getting a spark. I just replaced the plugs and wires last weekend.

ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

Thanks , Ryan :dsm:

Update went this morning to have it towed home. Got in it and tried to start it and it started. I was able to drive it home a couple of blocks and it seems to run fine. What gives.

ECU for sure. i had teh same problem and it ended uop being the injector firing solenoids on my ecu. take out the ECU and look at the motherboard. there should be 4 green boxes with a gap in the middle and 4 blue solenoids. look directly under neath them and see if it liiks like the underside of the motherboard is brown, or if there are any signs of them being fried. also check the capacitors. if its the injector solenoids, you will smell tons of fuel and it will pretty much be flooding the motor out. post an update as soon as u check the ECU.

Update. Took the ecu out today and it looks like two of the four geen boxes have gotten hot. It looks as if it's been hot and melted some kind of yellowish brown stuff on the board.
