Wetaskiwin,
Alright I am new to the DSM world... and boy what a beautiful world, I previously owned a 88 Plymouth Horizon and then the tranny blew.... stupid automatic powershifting... anywho I decided to keep it in the family and I spotted a drop dead car which I later purchased, I now own a 92 Plymouth Laser. I had to replace the clutch and that took me back a few hundred but now i have a new problem, I thought it was just shitty shifting on my part but i learned after a month of driving it was not, When i shift back from first to 2nd there is a grinding feeling on the left side of the shifter. It only happens when i am shifting into 2nd, i tried going slow but that did not really stop the grinding so i had to custimize my shifting into 2nd by tilting the shifter alil to the right when pulling it back, or just double clutchin. But My question is what is cauzing this grinding..... cauz all i can think of is a worn out synco gear but i really dont have the money to replace that so does anyone else have any ideas? Plz help
