When my vehicle sits at an idle, around 800 or so RPMs, the vehicle tends to vibrate a little bit. I notice the vibration in the steering wheel and when I look up at the hood I see it vibrating as well. When I am driving down the road it doesn't vibrate, only tends to do this when I am at a stop of some sort. Would the cause of this be because of bad motor mounts? If anyone can help me out on this I would greatly appreciate it! :thumb:

That could be anything really...mine vibrates a good bit also at idle.but then again I have all of my motor mounts welded solid.what do you mean by vibrates what vibrates?exhaust rattling against something?

Are you running factory rubber mounts, or aftermarket urethane mounts?

If rubber, they could be failed (cracked, torn, dry rotted, etc...). If urethane, vibration at idle is normal.

I am going to say on the safe side that I am running factory mounts, because I haven't a clue what mounts are on it.

I windo weld-ed mine and liked that good vibrations.... You can check the front and back by having someone go forward and reverse (holding brake and see if the engine torques).
