1G Motor Mounts

Just looking for some advice. Where is the best place to order motor mounts and what is the best brand to go with (for a non-daily driven 1/4 mile car)..thanks

IM partial to EBAY

I seem to find alot of hot deals on there. You wont find a better price on prothanes.

I tried DSM Parts and strangely they said they did not carry motor mounts for 1st Gen cars. Guess I'll go to ebay...thanks

I've been talking with a 3000GT/Stealth company that makes poly mounts for the Twin Turbo cars- trying to get them to make at least the roll mounts for us DSM's (might help the wheel hop on my FWD )

I think they are worried about lack of interest- you might want to send an email to them if you think there'd be more than a few of us interested... I think they said the last time they made 3/S mounts it was around $205 for all 4 solid poly mounts.

I payed $85 new, for all 4 Prothane mounts.... Big improvement against wheel hop. Ordered them locally from Titan Motorsports. Do a search for website, ask for Geo, hes my DSM connection.....

I've helped install several sets- they seem good- but if I'm gonna do all that work- I'd rather just install full poly inserts than the partials. the price for prothanes is awesome- I'm just not 100% sold- plus I only want the roll mounts- not the tranny or drivers mount.

I have the prothane on my cars, and love them. Kinda a PITA to install but worth it IMO 100%. I believe I ordered mine from Summit.

The prothanes without a doubt.

For the most part on a 1G they are full mounts, except for the one by the radiator....its an insert that braces the stock mount. If that stock mount is ripped, replace it with a new one and used the Prothane inserts.

Got mine on Ebay for $76 shipped! Cheapest place I could find them, and the shipping was very fast as well.
