Hey guys, I searched the forums to learn how to mold on a urethane back bumper and side skirts, but all I found was a forum about a fiberglass kit. Is there any different procedure or product I should use besides what is used to mold on a fiberglass kit? Or is it even possible to get the Urethane kit molded onto the car without it having stress cracks or just breaking off? Let me hear your opinons, or if anyone has done this please let me know how you did it! I can't find anyone in town that even knows how to mold a urethane kit, and the guy I spoke with in a town about 35 miles from here was telling me he could make it look "sort of" molded, but I dont want to "sort of" mold it on haha

I would definately mold the sideskirts. Maybe the rear bumper but never the front bumper. Especially with a turbo car. If you ever have to do any work that involves the frontmount or things of that nature you will have to remove the front bumper. I can see doing the back I guess. The sideskirts definately. Fiberglassing is the best way to go. It allows for some flex. You could just use body filler but any stress and it will crack and break.

agreed, fiberglass is your best bet, it gives you some play in flex, just make sure you do it right the first time, you'll save a lot of headache in the future.

Thanks for replies. I agree, Im not going to do my front bumper, but I do want the sides and back done. I will try it out and let you know how it goes! Thanks again guys for telling me how to get this problem fixed!! =)
