MIR Imports Vs. Domestics World Cup Finals

Hey all, I was wondering who plans on going to MIR for the World Cup Finals on November 4th? I plan on taking my FWD TSI after I get back from the SEMA Show, and would like to ride up (caravan) up to MIR and not be alone when holding it down for the DSM's. If you plan to go or think you will go please post up.

We'll be there with every DSM we own (3) and I'll also try to have the 4G63 tube chassis car out for some shakedowns if we can get it wired and tuned in time. Well, having the tube chassis car there is a stretch.....but we'll also have at least 4 other DSM's
(all 90 1G's.....wierd) in our stable down there with us.

This is the biggest street car event in the country. Unless you come super early, there wont be any place to park period let alone getting a group of cars together. We will be there racing a few hondas. I doubt my DSM will be up but ill be there regardless.

Shep will not be there this year, but there should be a good showing of dsm/evo's this year.. class rules are up now so anyone that plans on racing check them out... www.mirdrag.com

Well unfortunately, I have nobody to meet up with. So I am going to rent a trailer and use my friend's Tacoma and haul my car down there. I will be there early in the morning to beat the traffic and make sure I get a spot. My friend and I will be wearing a black and blue Snap On Racing crew shirt with a Mitsubishi Genuine Parts patch that I got from work. I have a black TSi. If you PM me, maybe we could discuss on where to meet up at and get some contact info.

Don't worry Boost Boyz & Girlz will be there and Shawn will be running the FWD ( the beast). I will be running the Talon ( BEAUTY ) with the new and improved turbo and wastegate. We'll be getting there very early saturday morning to get a spot for the ghetto toter. We would love to be surrounded by other DSM's, lets all try to pit togather or at least close proximity and represent our elite breed.

John, you know I'm going. I'm your crew cheif . No DSM though.

If you got cash I want to mock up a 3" side exit exhaust and have an exhaust shop weld it together, we can probably get one together for less then $100. This will help your trap ALOT. We can get the piping from a shop and I can cut it. Mock it up and have them welded it. I know we are playing with Meeks car this Sunday. Maybe we do it then.

Boost Boyz & Girlz Racing will be there, the talon is going to the doctors to get tuned on the DSM LINK first thing Monday morning. I'm curious to see what she'll do for me. So far MIR has been her favorite track. Hoping to hit the 12's this weekend. Shawn will be testing out the new street beat laser to see what her potential is.
