Since most of you know me from the debacle that came up. I figured I should say hello and give you guys some history on myself and a few pics of some toys I have.

First off, I'm Mark, the new owner of DGR Suspension. Its a fun and grilling task but being around the custom car scene for as long as I have, its always fun.

A bit of history on me, if any of you have been to a car show in the last 10 years. Odd's are I've had a hand in it some how, some way. Back in 2004 I started working for HIN/NCCA judging and eventually built my way up to head judge before Andy Goodman and myself split ways with HIN back in 2008. (New owners, long story) From there we started a judging org called F4 Challenge and started producing car shows nation wide, Judging and getting everybody away from the old way of car shows. Since then I've had a helping hand in almost every car show to come through town (wekfest, tuner galleria ect, redline time attack ect)

In 2009, I produced D1gp in Chicago and tested out our new judging platform, threw the point system out the window and it went better than anybody could ever expect. Consensus judging thats based on the car owner justifying why he built his car the way he did. No more "put this on your car to win under our guild lines". Here are some pics from the show, hopefully some of you were lucky enough to see it and be there.

From there we moved onto our own show and thats called RPM. (Rpmeventseries.com) This I teamed up with the original creator of HIN Rich Goodwin and this show went great nation wide. Every show we learned and tuned it to cater to the people more.

Here's a video we made from Chicago's RPM. (not sure if we can embed youtube vids?

Mischief In Chicago 2010 - Highlights - YouTube

We also did Dallas, SoCal, Orlando, and came back to do a Halloween themed Chicago show. This year for 2012 we decided to team up with UTI and do another 5 city tour and made some very nice changes to the car show that'll def benefit the attendee's. We listen, we learn.

Simultaneously I also produced/Judged Street life tour with the Zerolift guys out in Ohio this year. Anybody who follows midwest drift union show know of this show. Its a full on drift event/drag and we even had scion host their national corp car meet there with us. 2012 will def be a calendar year for SLT also with the changes I'm helping them implement. Here's some pics from that show, if you get a chance def check it out

Also FYI, Mike Pollard (1st place & D1GP driver) and Sikky racings 350z/S13 (pictured below) are all running DGR Coilovers. So it goes to show the true potential of these coils.

I know a bunch of you were asking me about my history in the car scene and I briefly went over some of the things I do, but this way if you are ever at any of my events, please feel free to let me know and I'd love to meet you guys in person. Also DGR will obviously be at all these events if you'd like to see the product up close and personal.

Post 2 I'll let you guys see some of the projects and former cars I've had.

Back in the day, I came from a mini truckin/lowrider scene so I've had the hydraulic, hopping, slammed and fun with adjustible suspension. I've also been building fiberglass and custom Carbon Fiber parts for 10 years. But lets start with the cars, and I'll get into some fun FG/CF projects.

My first car actually. a 2000 alero on Baer brakes, full custom interior (back in the Mickey mouse car days) and full on 2 pump cce Hydraulics.

Moved onto misc other cars, but not without stopping and owning my own DSM. 2G with 16g turbo, use to be an AMS car, fun but typically problematic.

From there I've had a few fun projects. But recently I've scooped up a couple more.

First is the S14, for now its got a few goodies, SR20DET (which is going in the S13) and the 14 is getting a VQ over winter.

On DGR Coils, and primarily used as a demo car to show comp clutche's twin disc, An AC Shockwave stereo and the comfort of a DGR Street kit. Right now the SR is at 285hp @ 14psi

The rear went up after this, never was a fan of the hella flush look. Wheels are being ditched over winter as well.

Onto the recent project. I have a love of S chassis's and cant resist when I find an old man who trades one in with no idea of what he has. Recently scooped up a 94 S13 convertible. Which is taking the SR from the s14.

Nothing to special for now, after its painted, new motor, new interior I'll be sure to post some pics.

And for you bike nuts, I dabble into that also. I've had a multitude of bikes over the years. Recently I've got my fav weapon for street/track use. 2001 gsxr 750. (being 6'1, 600cc bikes get small and annoying)

So there you guys have it, funny thing is this is merely scratching the surface with how involved I am in the car scene. But its fun to meet new people and get to know new groups of car owners.

Also dont forget [shameless plug] If you need a set of coilovers, check out the 2.0 version of the DGR group buy thread here.
