Listen, i know this isnt the place, but the traffic is heavy. Figured i'd ask. the only KNOWN and proven machinist near me is retiring. Gatewaydsm.org? Down. I was just 6 months too late on starting my build. So now idk what to do. My engine/head are both built. Most likely a hone and re ring.
Everything is stripped, i have a new friend that is letting me borrow his torque plate if it comes to boring it again.
I am at a stand still.
Please, please... do not tell me: do it your self, or ship it to JAM or any vendor. Both are great ideas but im a man with less time and more money. This IS a cheap job and paying to have it shipped both ways is crazy. I just need a good shop within 50 miles. Im in St jacob,il 62281 25 miles due east of the arch.

(eagle rods, mahle 9:1, new crank, decked head and block all 4500 miles old) Reusing everything if possible. Low compression/high leakdown past rings on #2 only. Not the valves/head. Def the rings
