metric header bolts?

i just removed a pacesetter header form my 90 tsi, and i bought a 2nd gen header for my car, and the bolts from the previous header are too short. where do you guys get ## bolts from?

You Need an 8mm x 1.25 bolt. You can get them in the metric section of any hardware store. Make sure to get High strength bolts cause they will be going in the Head. You dont want those breaking off. Just find the length you need.

Look for a zinc coated 10.9 grade bolt. It will be a GOLD color from the zinc coating.

8x1.25 are for manifold to head. I am no sure from the original post if he needs those or the turbo to manifold bolts. 10x1.25 are needed for turbo to manifold bolts. Stock replacements are available from extreme psi and others for turbo to manifold bolts. Manifold to head available from SSStuds.com. I haven't had any luck finding high grade metric bolts locally. I have used allen's fasteners. He is quick to ship and has a great selection of bolts including ARP ones.
