I know I know people ask this all teh time. Well I have a somewhat built up motor so this question hasn't been answered all that many times. I just want to make max hp out of my setup. My mods are as follows:

Block bored .020" over and honed
Ross 8.5:1 pistons
Eagle Rods
no BS shafts
All new gaskets / seals
ARP headstuds
MLS 4 layer headgasket
1g head ( mild porting and fresh rebuild )
1g 5 speed cams
decked block and double decked head
FM bearings
Big fmic with custom piping
Greddy Type S bov
1g intake mani / throttle body
PTE gt35 turbo ( most likely .. might pick up today )
tial 38mm wastegate
660 injectors
afpr
255 pump
safc
3" turboback
HKS evc4 boost controller

I know on the street 21-24 is prolly the most I'll run, but what about on race gas and at the track? This turbo seems to just start making its power around 25 psi so I wanna kick it up when I'm actually racing ... What do you guys think? With tuning of course!!

Essentially you can run a much boost as you can tune for with little/no knock depending on your fuel system.

You could run 30psi if tuned properly

yea that's what I was hoping for. At what point does O ringing the block become necessary? Also ... at what boost levels do 660s usually become insufficient on a turbo of this size? Thanks.

hmm I see. I've been hearing a lot of people getting injectors in the 700s if they are planning on running high boost on big turbos. Hopefully these will be good enough.

I'd run 720's on that setup, personally. If you are going to use race gas @ the track, that is.

ok but will these injectors be sufficient for say 24 - 25 psi on the street on 93 or will they be too small for that too? Also ... I changed turbos ... I didn't get the gt35 last night, but I have an sc61 coming now with an equal length manifold

you know that's actually not that bad ... at local Gas Citys they sell race gas ( 100 octane ) and it's like $3.59 a gallon or something like that ... gets rather expensive. At my local track ( rt66 ) it's $4 a gallon for 100 octane.

LOL, 100 octane at the pump here is $4.39/gal and at the track 110 is $5/gal and 112 is $6/gal.

Another reason some of the guys run 700+cc injectors is to keep the duty cycle down. I would think it would be better to run 720s at 80% duty cycle than 660s at 90+%. I've also heard that once you go above the 660 mark, it's best to invest in a standalone such as a DSMLink because the SAFC runs out of correction.

Correct. The DSMLink is a MUCH better tuning tool than the SAFC. It's just more expensive, but you get what you pay for.
