Massive Oil Leak

I believe my block is leaking oil and fast. Everywhere I go there would be a puddle left on the ground it two spots but I could never find where it was coming from. I would put a quart of oil in every other day and it just kept losing oil. I wouldn't know where to begin looking. When I look in the engine bay there's oil sprayed everywhere across the bay. What could possibly cause this? It's a fresh 420A rebuild with 275 miles and swapped from auto to 5 speed. Any ideas are appreciated.

Let the motor sit for 24 hours, throw a piece of cardboard under it thats as large and as wide as the engine bay and let it idle for 15-20 minutes and stay in the same spot during cool down. That should give you coordinates to the areas of the leak. From there, you should look at what has oil actually running through it and what doesn't. It should be a quick diagnostic after you do that test. Found many a oil leaks using cardboard.

You should consider using an engine degreaser to clean up the engine bay. Then you start clean. Let it idle to operating temp, then turn the car off, and look around on top and from underneath the engine. Oil leaks can be tough to spot when there is already a mess under the hood. If all looks fine after idle, then go for a short drive and repeat. Your going to have to investigate a bit on your own or just take it to a shop for them to do.
