Have a 98 rs with a turbo. Need some advice with swappin my manifold. Wondering if the 4g63 manifolds would fit onto my 420A? If not then, wots my best option?

Nope, they won't.

Treadstone cast manifolds (www.treadstoneperformance.com) are looking pretty good, although they do get back ordered every now and then. Street Souce manifolds (www.thestreetsource.net) were the best choice for a while, but they've been customer service issues recently. Plus, Treadstone's cast manifolds are the same price, and cast! Cast is a big advantage over welded.

Star and Hahn make excellent manifolds as well, but they're overpriced.

Also consider which turbo you want. Treadstone manifolds are great for T3 style turbos, but the Street Source may be your only option if you have an MHI turbo.

Thanxs man, I'll def hit up Treadstone cast manifolds. Have a nice T3/T4 turbo waitin to be installed.

I am not trying to call you out or anything but if you didn't know that the 4g manifold is different than the 420a manifold then you probably have a good bit of reading to do. Its not just a bolt on kind of thing like an intake is. You have to have a rising rate fpr or go stand alone, return lines, oil lines, intercooler pipes, intercooler, down pipe, injectors, bov, external/internal wastegate, fuel pump, etc. Just make sure you have everything before you start to install it but later realize that you don't have everything or blow something up.

Its not that I didnt know, just wanted to be sure. I know both the 4g and 420 are totally different from each other. But thanxs for the heads up tho...
